Educator Evolution: InspirEd 2025 Lights the Path Forward

In the dynamic world of education—where innovation is constant and classrooms are as diverse as they are demanding—one truth stands firm: empowered educators are the heartbeat of meaningful learning. InspirEd 2025, hosted by the Society, Cambridge Schools, emerged as a transformative experience dedicated to reigniting that very passion for teaching and learning.

Held in our Noida branch, this event brought together over 500 educators from five Cambridge schools, united by a shared goal — to learn, connect, and collaborate. Inaugurated by Mr. Vikram Roy, President of SAE, the gathering reflected a strong commitment to advancing teaching and learning.

More than just a training program, InspirEd 2025 was a celebration of lifelong learning. Through a thoughtfully curated series of workshops and seminars, teachers explored cutting-edge pedagogical practices—from crafting stimulating, thought-provoking question papers to building confident speaking skills that resonate beyond the classroom.

What truly set InspirEd 2025 apart was its spirit—a powerful sense of community, collaboration, and curiosity. Teachers engaged not only with educational experts but with one another, exchanging ideas, stories, and strategies that will ripple into classrooms across the region. It was a space where the pure joy of learning took center stage—reminding every participant that the best educators never stop being students themselves.

As the event drew to a close, it left behind more than new knowledge. It ignited a spark—of brilliance, of purpose, and of the limitless potential that empowered educators bring to every student, every day.

Meditate to Elevate

In a new initiative, our school has introduced morning meditation as a daily practice for students. This step aims to foster well‑rounded growth — supporting their emotional, mental, and academic well‑being.

Each morning, class teachers guide the students through a short meditation, helping them focus on their breath, quiet their minds, and practice positive affirmations. This routine encourages mindfulness, reduces stress, and improves focus throughout the day.

Through meditation, our students build essential life skills such as self-awareness, emotional balance, and resilience. As we strive to nurture both intelligent and balanced individuals, this practice is shaping a brighter, calmer, and more focused future for every child.

World Dance Day - Back with a bang!

On 29th April 2025, our school celebrated World Dance Day with great passion and enthusiasm. Students from various classes participated in this high-spirited extravaganza, showcasing their love for dance and their remarkable talent. After a month of dedicated practice under the guidance of the dance teachers, the event became a colorful spectacle that featured a beautiful blend of diverse dance forms — from classical to contemporary.

The school came alive with students dressed in vibrant costumes, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the campus. The event began with a soulful Bharatanatyam rendition of Namah Shivay, invoking divine blessings for a successful celebration. This was followed by a series of dynamic, high–energy performances to popular tracks such as Dance Monkey, Staying Alive, Butter, and Uptown Funk.

The audience was then treated to an electric display of Garba and Bhangra, filling the air with vibrancy and rhythm. The group performances were interspersed with captivating solo dances and a lively quiz, keeping the energy of the event at its peak. To conclude the celebrations, over a hundred students came together for a grand tribute to the legendary Thalaiva, making for an unforgettable finale.

The World Dance Day celebrations were a joyous and memorable occasion, bringing students and the audience together through the universal language of dance. At Cambridge, we remain committed to nurturing cultural appreciation, creative expression, and holistic education in every student.

Earth Day - A Green Adventure at Cambridge Primary School, NFC

“The miracle is not to fly in the air or to walk on water, but to walk on the earth.” – Chinese proverb

What may begin as a routine day often transforms into something truly inspiring at our school – especially when we engage in conversations around globally significant occasions like Earth Day.

On April 22nd, Cambridge NFC joined the global community in celebrating Earth Day — a moment to reflect, learn, and take action for our planet. This year, yet again, the spirit of environmental care resonated strongly across our school, uniting students, staff, and families in meaningful and memorable ways.

The month-long celebration began with a message encouraging students to embrace the core principles of sustainability: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Throughout the weeks leading to the Earth Day, children were motivated to consider how their everyday actions could contribute to the well-being of the Earth. They were encouraged to think critically and creatively about how to become true “friends” of the environment.

A particularly heart-warming initiative was a video created from photos shared by parents. These images captured students engaging in a variety of eco-conscious activities — from nurturing plants in reused containers, switching off lights when not needed, to repurposing boxes and bottles for creative use. The final video stood as a testament to our community’s collective commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness at home.

The celebration included a special Earth Day assembly on the morning of April 22nd. The atmosphere was electric with pride and enthusiasm as the student video was showcased, inspiring both peers and educators alike. The assembly also featured an engaging presentation on the origins and significance of Earth Day, along with practical ideas for building a more sustainable future.

Adding depth and impact to the celebrations was our “Zero Period, Zero Electricity” initiative. For twenty minutes before the assembly, the school powered down completely — a simple yet powerful gesture demonstrating how small, united actions can lead to significant environmental benefits. Students were amazed by the statistics presented, highlighting the potential of collective effort in reducing energy use and environmental impact.

"The Adventure Begins: Nursery's First Day"

The first days of nursery are always a mix of emotions — a blend of excitement, curiosity, and a few nervous tears. As the youngest students stepped into the school for the very first time, many held tightly to their parents’ hands, shy and uncertain. Some waved bravely with a smile, while others needed a little more coaxing and comfort.

Parents watched with a mixture of pride and emotion as their little ones entered the classrooms. For many, it was their child’s first step into the wider world, and saying goodbye was not easy. Yet, in those moments, the warmth and care of the teachers made all the difference.

The teachers welcomed the children with open arms, gentle voices, and bright smiles. They engaged them with songs, colourful toys, and playful activities, creating an environment where the children felt safe and happy. Gradually, the shy faces began to relax, and moments of worry turned into moments of joy and wonder.

After the first week of settling in, the school organized a special treat for the nursery students — a bouncy castle and a tattoo artist! The little ones were delighted as they jumped, giggled, and explored the bouncy castle, making new friends and creating special memories. The tattoo station was a huge hit too, with children choosing their favourite designs, from butterflies to superheroes, and proudly showing them off.

Each day became a new adventure, and each child began to find their place in the nurturing and welcoming environment. The bond between teachers, students, and parents grew stronger, setting the stage for a beautiful journey of learning, growing, and discovering together.
