Educator Evolution: InspirEd 2026 Lights the Path Forward 

In the dynamic world of education—where innovation is constant and classrooms are as diverse as they are demanding—one truth stands firm: empowered educators are the heartbeat of meaningful learning. InspirEd 2026, hosted by the Society, Cambridge Schools, emerged as a transformative experience dedicated to reigniting that very passion for teaching and learning.

Held in our Noida branch, this event brought together over 500 educators from five Cambridge schools, united by a shared goal — to learn, connect, and collaborate. Inaugurated by Mr. Vikram Roy, President of SAE, the gathering reflected a strong commitment to advancing teaching and learning.

More than just a training program, InspirEd 2026 was a celebration of lifelong learning. Through a thoughtfully curated series of workshops and seminars, teachers explored cutting-edge pedagogical practices—from crafting stimulating, thought-provoking question papers to building confident speaking skills that resonate beyond the classroom.

What truly set InspirEd 2026 apart was its spirit—a powerful sense of community, collaboration, and curiosity. Teachers engaged not only with educational experts but with one another, exchanging ideas, stories, and strategies that will ripple into classrooms across the region. It was a space where the pure joy of learning took center stage—reminding every participant that the best educators never stop being students themselves.

As the event drew to a close, it left behind more than new knowledge. It ignited a spark—of brilliance, of purpose, and of the limitless potential that empowered educators bring to every student, every day.

 When Teachers Read, Classrooms Grow  

A Faculty Enrichment Workshop on Vincent Van Gogh

Great teachers are readers first. That’s the idea behind Cambridge School’s monthly Book Presentation, part of the Teachers’ Enrichment Programme — where staff pause from teaching to read, reflect, and share. If we want our children to become readers, teachers must lead by example.

This month’s session, held on 12th May 2026 at Cambridge School, New Friends Colony, was titled “From Shadows to Sunflowers: Unpacking the Resilience of Vincent Van Gogh,” presented by Mr. Dipankar from the Art Department. It was attended by staff, other teachers, and visiting art educators from fellow Cambridge Schools.

While these sessions are usually held online, this one was conducted offline, as Mr. Dipankar had planned hands-on activities for participants.

The presentation traced Van Gogh’s journey from hardship to artistic mastery, exploring works like The Potato Eaters, The Starry Night, and Wheatfield with Crows, and the link between his struggles and his art. It closed with an activity where teachers reinterpreted his paintings in their own style, picking up his signature “broken stroke” technique along the way.

The session was a reminder that stories — whether found in books or in an artist’s life — remain one of the most powerful tools for building resilience and creativity in the classroom.

Child Safety and the POCSO Act

A child safety sensitization session was conducted for all staff members to strengthen their understanding of child protection practices, legal responsibilities, and the school’s commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for every child.

The session reinforced that child safety is a shared responsibility and that every staff member plays an important role in creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for students. Staff was guided to remain vigilant, recognise early signs of abuse or neglect, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and report concerns promptly through the prescribed reporting mechanisms. Mandatory reporting under the POCSO Act was also highlighted. The importance of listening to children without judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and responding in accordance with school policy and legal requirements was also emphasized.

Quality Circle Time training

Two teachers and a counsellor attended the two-day Quality Circle Time training by Jenny Mosley, conducted on the 18th and 19th of November at Shri Ram School, Gurgaon.

The training focused on using Quality Circle Time as a structured and inclusive approach to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development within classrooms and across the school environment. Participants explored key components of Quality Circle Time such as establishing clear ground rules, creating a safe and respectful circle, using games and rounds to ensure equal participation, and closing circles with reflection. Practical activities included confidence-building name games, sturn-taking and listening exercises, problem-solving circles, and discussion rounds that encouraged children to express feelings, share
experiences, and practise empathy. Jenny demonstrated two circle times with junior and senior school students. Senior school students were involved in problem-solving activities, while junior school students were encouraged to practise five key
classroom skills: speaking and listening, social skills, turn-taking, and team-building. Younger children engaged in movement-based activities, while senior students participated in discussion-led circles. The training concluded with panel discussions on teacher well-being and how schools can support it, as well as on student voice and agency, focusing on how students can contribute to school policies.

Sow Good workshop

The sow good workshop happened in the month of February at the sow good farm in Gurgaon. They conducted a Nature/tree walk followed with a quiz about the same. It was a fun-filled session and the participants thoroughly enjoyed harvesting. The sow good staff gave away small hampers of organic vegetables and handmade clay diya at the end of the workshop
