Leadership & Administration

The Cambridge Schools are  governed by the policies and procedures set down by the Society for the Advancement of Education (SAE). A representative of the SAE is the Manager of every school and provides ideas, support and guidance to the Principal.

Certain key functions of the chain of schools come under a centralized jurisdiction –such as HR, Training, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Infrastructure, Sustainability, etc.

Overall supervision of all Cambridge Schools for matters related to strategic initiatives, financial performance and SAE/School communication is the responsibility of the School Manager who provides ideas, support and guidance to the Principal as required.

Anu Behl Roy is from the Convent of Jesus and Mary, and subsequently, from the Jesus and Mary College and the Central Institute of Education, both of Delhi University. She has been a computer programmer, a corporate executive and an associate at the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) for some years, before entering the education field. This was inspired by her desire to make schools fair as well as interesting.

She has done courses in art and photography from the National Museum, National Gallery and Triveni Kala Sangam.  She believes strongly that school should provide children with affection and understanding, a safe environment, an insatiable curiosity about the world and, eventually, the determination to improve it. How Children Learn by John Holt is one of her favourite books. She feels strongly about the mistreatment of animals. When she is not working she reads, paints, does yoga, swims and plays with her pets.
