On 25th January, Republic Day was celebrated in school as a field event. The celebrations started with the hoisting of the National Flag by Mr. Vikram Roy and the National Anthem being sung by all. This was followed by the March Past. The participating contingents of Class 5 students, school teachers and parents recreated the magic of Rajpath as they marched with patriotic fervour and took the salute.  Class 2 children presented the Dumbbell Drill. This was followed by the display of Taekwondo taught in school by Kanhaiya Sir. Class 3 presented 3 field dances – Bihu, Rajasthani and Bhangra. The drill, martial art display and the colourful dances were interspersed with lively and energetic singing of patriotic songs by the Class 4 choir. The celebrations ended with all the classes waving past the audience, who were enthusiastically cheering on the very famous and patriotic lyrics of Saare Jahan Se Achha and Kadam Kadam Badhhaye Jaa.

 After the assembly, different activities related to Republic Day were held in all classes.
