A special online assembly was held to celebrate Children’s Day and Diwali on November 13 at 9.00 am for the entire school. The assembly started with teachers and children jointly singing the prayer Hum Ko Mann Ki Shakti Dena. A video showing Anu Ma’am and few teachers jointly reciting the poem “Wishes” was shown to the children. The poem was full of lines bestowing lots of good wishes for our children. Manjula Ma’am spoke about Chacha Nehru and the significance of Children’s Day. To add comedy and laughter to the show, few enthusiastic teachers had prepared two short skits, enacted by them in the school auditorium and recorded for the occasion. The audience was taken through memory lane and made nostalgic by presenting glimpses of the past few Children’s Day assemblies through video clippings. After a small talk on Diwali and reminding them to ‘Say No to Crackers’,   ‘Aayi Diwali‘ a video launched by the school on YouTube in 2018 was played. The assembly ended with the national anthem.
