Delhi Green School Award 2023
Cambridge School, New Friends Colony has received the ‘Delhi Green School Award’ for being an environment friendly campus and fostering eco friendly practices among students and staff.
The event was organised by the Science Branch, Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi NCR and saw the launch of the eighth edition of the Nai Udaan magazine.
The renowned environmental activist, Eco-Feminist and Author, Dr. Vandana Shiva along with the Director of Education, Delhi Government Mr. Himanshu Gupta, were the guests of honor.

Expressions India, a well-recognized organization striving to empower, support and streamline the educational systems, organized its ‘Life Empowerment Awards for schools 2017’. Schools from all over India had participated. An award ceremony was held on August 17, 2017 where, Cambridge School New Friends Colony was given awards in the following categories: 1. Principal leadership for Outstanding Endeavours (Outstanding) 2. Counselling services in Schools (Outstanding) 3. Inclusive Education in Schools (Meritorious)
